Keir Mather was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Transport on 7 September 2025.

He was previously Assistant Whip, House of Commons between 10 July 2024 and 7 September 2025. He was elected as the MP for Selby and Ainsty in July 2023 and re-elected as MP for Selby in July 2024.
