Steve built significant operational and project management experience during a successful period at British Gas, graduating in Business Studies in 1997. It was there that his passion for people and safety began, and in 2007 he made it his career. He went on to become Health and Safety Director at Amec Foster Wheeler, Balfour Beatty, and Pennon Group. There, as a FTSE-100 executive, his brief extended across UK and international operations. Keen to make a difference across industries, he has worked in oil and gas, rail, power, petrochemicals, and water and waste management.

With a strong background in EHS and risk management, Steve helps shape COMET’s approach to tackling safety challenges and improving operational performance for clients in high-risk industries. He is married to Rachael, has two children and lives in Norfolk, England.
