Will Fellows

Ports and VTS Manager
Maritime and Coastguard Agency

Will has been working for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency as the Ports and VTS manager since March this year having made the move from a shipside to a shoreside position for the second time.  Originally trained as a seafarer on Cruise Ships he moved to the Royal Fleet Auxiliary where he spent time working on dockyard ports policy and guidance, aligning it with civilian standards.  From this he moved to a position with ABPmer as a marine consultant working on navigational risk, marine safety management, investigation, and designated person services.  He maintained consultancy services when returning to shipside roles on large yachts, ferries, and boutique cruise vessels eventually becoming a Master.  Having now begun a family Will has moved to a more stable role with the MCA.
